Affiliate & Transparency Disclosure

Transparency and consumer trust are core pillars of Pet Infrastructure. This page details our commercial relationships and our editorial integrity standards.

Amazon Associates Program

Pet Infrastructure is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

When you click on affiliate links integrated within our technical bulletins (such as links prefixed with https://amzn.to/), a tracking cookie is placed by Amazon. If you make a qualifying purchase, we receive a small percentage of the sale as a commission.

This commission is paid entirely by the retailer and does not result in any additional cost to you.

Regulatory Compliance

In accordance with the Swiss Federal Act against Unfair Competition (LCD / UWG, RS 241), in particular art. 3 para. 1, and with the United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines regarding endorsements and testimonials, we maintain complete clarity regarding our commercial incentives:

  • We explicitly identify affiliate links in our technical manuals and troubleshooting checklists.
  • An affiliate notice box is displayed prominently on every bulletin containing monetized outbound links.
  • We do not receive direct payments or free merchandise from hardware manufacturers (such as Whisker or Sure Petcare) in exchange for positive reviews or recommendations.

Editorial Independence Policy

Our technical assessments, engineering diagnostic tables, and step-by-step repair checklists are authored with complete editorial independence.

The inclusion of any specific replacement part, repair tool (e.g., isopropyl alcohol, microfiber cloth), or complete device upgrade bundle is based solely on its engineering merit, availability, and direct relevance to resolving the specific hardware failure mode documented in the bulletin.

We strive to offer alternative solutions, including mechanical cleaning, resetting procedures, and software adjustments, before suggesting hardware replacements.
