Section 2.0: Data Protection

Pet Infrastructure processes personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP / nLPD), in force since 1 September 2023. For visitors based in the European Union, we additionally apply the principles of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) by equivalence, in accordance with art. 3 GDPR on territorial scope.

This website does not deploy analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or third-party profiling scripts. No personal data is collected through passive navigation. Any data voluntarily submitted via contact is processed solely for the purpose stated, encrypted in transit, and purged within 30 days.

Section 3.0: Affiliate Disclosure

In accordance with the Swiss Federal Act against Unfair Competition (LCD / UWG, RS 241), in particular art. 3 para. 1 let. b and o, and with FTC guidelines (USA) for US-based visitors, Pet Infrastructure maintains full transparency regarding its commercial relationships.

Pet Infrastructure participates in affiliate programs. Links labeled "Acquire Hardware," "Authorize Purchase," or equivalent within our Technical Bulletins are affiliate links and incorporate retailer tracking identifiers. An affiliate disclosure notice is displayed at the top of each bulletin page containing such links.

When a purchase is completed through these links, Pet Infrastructure receives a commission from the retailer or manufacturer. This commission is paid by the retailer and does not add any cost to the end-user's transaction.

Our technical assessments, diagnostic protocols, and hardware recommendations are conducted and authored independently of these commercial arrangements. A product's inclusion in a bulletin is determined solely by its relevance to the documented failure mode addressed in that report.
